Since 1980, Appalachian Craft Center has embraced, supported, and
encouraged the craftspeople and the Southern Appalachian region. We are among
the largest and oldest retailers of hand-made crafts in the region, specializing in North
Carolina regional crafts.
We are located downtown in the culturally rich city of Asheville, North Carolina. We
have been at the same location since inception, though our shop of hand-crafted
treasures has grown more than threefold over the years. This growth is a much
appreciated recognition that our customers value the crafts of the region and our
relationship with these craftspeople.
